Our hotels adhere to the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts’ internal certification program which compiles best practices and projects.
Energy and Water
We run a variety of initiatives within our hotels to reduce our energy and water consumption.
A key example of this is linen and towel reuse. In order to minimise use of energy, water and detergents from laundering towels and linens, we have implemented a linen and towel re-use program in all guestrooms. We only provide the required number of towels and pillows per guest to avoid the unnecessary changing of unused towels and bedding.
Waste Management
Our hotels use an online check-in system which not only allows us to reduce paper usage, but also speeds up the check in process for our hotel guests.
Plastic wastage has been an area of significant reduction for our hotels. We provide soap and hair/body wash dispensers in our bathrooms, rather than single-use miniature bottles, to reduce excess plastic.
Additionally, in order to reduce our food waste, our hotels participate in Too Good To Go, enabling any surplus food from our hotels to be sold, at a reduced price, to customers at various points in the day.
