Welcome Break Raises £75,000 for Children in Need 2025
We’re delighted to announce that Welcome Break has proudly raised £75,000 for BBC Children in Need this year! This achievement is a testament to the generosity of our customers and the unwavering commitment of our amazing team members across the country.
Children in Need is a lifeline for thousands of children and young people across the UK. Right now, they can only fund 1 in 6 projects that apply for support. That means countless children are missing out on vital help. Thanks to your donations and the efforts of our team, the money raised will go towards making life lighter for children across the UK.
From the start of October through to appeal night on November 14th, every penny raised through the Welcome Break Charitable Fund has gone directly to Children in Need. Our team have embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and gone the extra mile, all in the name of doing good. They have organised raffles, bingo nights, and bucket shakes. They have encouraged customers to add a little extra at the till. They even took on personal challenges to push their fundraising targets higher.
If you visited one of our services recently, you might have even spotted Pudsey out and about with his new friend Miles, completing 25 acts of kindness to spread joy and raise awareness. This campaign hasn’t just about raising money, it has also been about coming together for a cause that truly matters. Every donation, no matter how small, contributes to helping those that need it.
