Plan Your Break
Travelling with Dogs
We aim to provide you and your family with a Welcome Break, and this also applies to those who travel with their beloved four-legged companions. We offer outdoor areas where you can exercise your dog, plus well-behaved dogs are welcome inside our buildings so that you can use our restroom facilities and indoor seating areas. However, please note that apart from Assistance Dogs, we are unable to accommodate pets in our restaurants or retail shops. To prioritise the safety of our customers and your pets, we kindly request that you keep your furry friends on a lead at all times and off of the furniture. Welcome Break reserves the right to ask the owner and their dog to leave the premises at any time.
Frequently Asked Questions

Can my Guide Dog enter the premises?
Assistance dogs, including Guide dogs, are permitted on our sites, as well as inside our restaurants, shops, and facilities. These dogs are specifically trained to aid individuals with disabilities or medical conditions, and they are legally allowed in public spaces with their owners. At Welcome Break, we strive for inclusivity, encouraging owners to use our sites while feeling safe and secure.

Can I bring them inside to use the facilities?
Absolutely! We welcome all drivers who need to bring their well-behaved dogs with them to use the restroom facilities and seating areas inside our buildings. However, please note that dogs are not allowed in our restaurants and retail shops, and must be kept on a lead at all times and off of the furniture.

Can my dog accompany me while I dine?
