Parking

All Welcome Break car parks are covered by ANPR technology (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) and managed by ParkingEye.

Every Welcome Break site offers 2 hours free parking to all motorists. For those motorists wishing to stay longer than 2 hours, there is the option to pay for additional parking time as detailed on the signage within the car park. If parking regulations are not adhered to a Parking Charge Notice will be issued.

Tariffs

Car parking charges apply after a free 2 hour period. Following the first 2 hours, cars are required to pay £15 for 2–24 hours, at all Welcome Break locations.

Click here to find the charges at each location.

Where to Pay

Payment for parking is taken at designated till points as detailed on the site signage (WH Smith, petrol forecourts etc.) where you will be required to enter your full vehicle registration plate into a touchscreen terminal. Cars can also pay for parking tariffs via the PayByMobile service, following the on site signage, using the unique location code. Payment cannot be made by phone or online once the vehicle has left the location.

Hotel Guests

Any sites that have a hotel offer free parking to hotel guests providing the motorist logs their vehicle registration plate with reception.

HGV/Haulage

For HGV drivers or haulage companies requiring an account or permit to park, email parkingenquiries@welcomebreak.co.uk for further details. Whether its pay as you go or a time specific period, we will endeavour to meet your needs.

All Welcome Break sites have shower facilities apart from Derby.
