In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in our own lives and forget about those who may be less fortunate or in need of assistance. However, at Welcome Break, we believe in the power of community and giving back. On Wednesday 31^st May, our team members from Leicester Forest East embarked on a heart-warming journey to support two incredible initiatives: b-inspired's food bank and Street Vibe Young Peoples Service. We couldn't be prouder of our team's efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

B-inspired is a neighbourhood-based charity that operates a food bank every Wednesday and Thursday, providing essential supplies to those facing food insecurity. Recognising the importance of this cause, our Team Members decided to step up and make a difference.

Leicester Forest East rallied together and started a food donation drive, encouraging Team Members and customers to contribute. From canned goods to non-perishable items, our team collected a significant amount of food to support b-inspired's food bank. These donations ensure that individuals and families in need have access to nutritious meals and essential groceries.

Another fantastic initiative that our Team Members were able to support this week is Street Vibe Young Peoples Service. This organisation aims to create a safe and enjoyable environment for children in the local community. They provide a variety of activities and games to keep kids entertained and engaged, particularly during school breaks like half term.

During this week’s Half Term holidays, our Team Members visited Street Vibe to lend a helping hand. We wanted to ensure that all the children attending had a memorable and fun-filled experience by providing free sandwiches for all the kids, allowing them to refuel and enjoy their day.
