An Announcement from the Welcome Break Charitable Fund
The Welcome Break Charitable Fund, established in 2023, was created to give back to the communities where we operate. Our goal is simple: to help people in our local communities through charity partnerships, community grants, volunteering, and fundraising initiatives.
How the Fund Works
For every £1 raised:
- 65p goes directly to our charity partner
- 30p supports our Community Grant Fund
- 5p helps the National Emergencies Trust
This structure helps every contribution make a difference both nationally and locally.
Our Current Partnerships
Over the past three years, we’ve proudly partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support in Great Britain and Friends of the Cancer Centre in Northern Ireland. So far, we’ve raised an incredible £657,929 for Macmillan and £147,101 for Friends of the Cancer Centre, helping to support the lives of those living with cancer. Our commitment to these incredible charities will continue until the end of 2026, with an ambition to fundraise even more throughout this year.
Looking Ahead: A New Charity Partner
To continue the impactful work in our communities, from 2027, the Welcome Break Charitable Fund will launch new charity partnerships in both Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for organisations that believe in our goal of doing good in our communities and share our values of We Care, We Deliver, We are a Team.
Applications Open January 2026
Applications for this charity partnership opportunity will open in January 2026. We encourage eligible charities to review the criteria and prepare to submit their applications.
