New research carried out on behalf of Welcome Break shows that despite three in five parents (60%) believing it is important to take children to visit Santa, a third of parents (31%) cannot afford the ticket price due to the rising cost of living. A further one in five parents (20%) say they cannot afford the travel costs involved.

We have managed to speak to the man himself to find some time in his busy calendar for all those who haven’t yet planned a trip to meet him.
