Summer Road Trip Essentials
Summer is finally here! Whether you’re travelling to your staycation, or commuting, we have put together a list of absolute essentials to keep you going on the road throughout the heat of summer.
Key essentials:
- Water – an essential all the time, but especially for the heatwaves! Make sure everyone in the car is keeping hydrated, and ensure you regularly stop off to stretch your legs and have toilet breaks.
- GPS – Vital to ensure you find your way to your staycation!

- Emergency/Spare cash – in case of going through an unexpected toll or needing to pay for parking somewhere.
- Driver’s License and/or passports if needed.
- Snacks – it’s nice to stop for food, especially with us as we house all your favourite brands! But having some granola bars, protein bars, fresh fruit, and share bags of your favourite sweets and chocolate are always great to munch on when you want to graze but don’t want to pull over.

Pet essentials:
We can’t forget the best part of the road trip…our furry friends! They too need love and essentials on the road, so this is what we have created a list of what we recommend you bring with them.
- Water bowl/Collapsible travel water bowl
- Water
- Their food – enough to supply the road trip and your staycation.
- A safe place for them to sit for the journey - ideally with a seatbelt.
- Treats - enough to supply the road trip and your staycation
- Toys
- Blanket/Bed – from home, so they always feel comfortable.
- Poop bags
- A collar and lead - with a tag with contact details on.
Always regularly stop off with your pet to ensure they can have a toilet break and stretch their legs and make sure in the car journey your dog is always able to access fresh air.
